First post

This is the first post on yapoolab.

The plan is to keep things small and useful: short notes on secure coding, write-ups from CTFs and code reviews, and the occasional honest review of tools I’m using.

Topics I’d like to cover

  • Secure-coding decisions — the small choices that quietly change a system’s risk profile, and the reasoning behind them.
  • Offense / defense case studies — interesting findings from CTFs, audits, and side projects, distilled into one or two takeaways each.
  • Tooling notes — honest impressions of dev / security tools I actually run with.

A small commitment

Technical posts age fast. Wherever I can, I’ll lean into why over how, since the how is usually a search away — but the why tends to be what’s missing.

Mostly this is a notebook I’m letting other people read.

Categories and tags will get cleaner as more posts pile up.
